Shipping Policy
Due to the variety of products contained within our store, Acrocomia shipping policies will vary according to the type of product ordered. Below is a list of policies for our major product types, please contact us if you have any questions.
Picnic Baskets
Orders placed after 2PM Central Standard Time will be processed the NEXT BUSINESS DAY. All orders ship between 1-3 business days from the date your order is processed. Please write all "need by" dates in the comments section of your order as Expedited Shipping is available. (Example: Order placed 9am CST on Monday could ship Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. Order placed on Friday at 2PM CST would process on Monday (next business day) and could Ship Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday.)
Please note that we make every attempt to get your order out the same business day, however, due to holidays, bad weather or other unforseen circumstances it can take up to 2 additional days to ship your order.
All picnic items are shipped "Free" FedEx ground in the contiguous U.S. unless otherwise specified via email or phone from our factory in California. Faster shipping is available at checkout but will incur additional cost. You will be charged for shipping if you live in Hawaii or Alaska. This cost is paid for via a separate credit card transaction from the purchase. All of our items are packaged and shipped in a cardboard box to assure that your quality Acrocomia™ purchase will arrive in perfect condition from the factory to your doorstep.
When it arrives please be sure to note the condition of the box and if there are any puncture marks if so open the box before the driver leaves to make sure it wasn't damaged in transit.
If you discover damage after they leave make a note of it and email or call us right away.
Picnic Basket Returns
If for any reason you are not fully satisfied with the picnic products received, please contact us immediately and let us know what the problem is. If we can't resolve your issues to your satisfaction you may return your item. Please return the items unused and in the condition received within 7 days for a refund or exchange.There is no restocking fee. We only ask that you pay for shipping.
Before returning any item, you must contact our office to get a return authorization number and mailing instructions. Product (and all associated accessories) must be returned in their original packing and in RESALABLE condition. No refunds or exchanges may be made after 30 days of the delivery date.
Please note: Special or customized orders cannot be returned, therefore please be certain of your choices. Our staff is here to help you with your purchases and ensure that you feel truly comfortable with your purchase.
Futons, Beds, Futon Furniture, Bean Bags
Most items ship from the warehouse within 3 to 5 business days of receiving and processing your order. If an items happen to run out of stock we will notify you immediately.Futon covers ship UPS or Fed Ex and will be left at your door unless otherwise notified. All other larger furniture ships on a common carrier (like ABF). Beds and bunk beds come in three to four boxes and will require that someone be there to unload your bed off the truck. You should have someone reasonably strong there to help take the items off the truck.
If any damage is visible to the box or boxes when your order comes, inspect it immediately and have the driver take it back.
When ordering the beds and larger items always be sure to include a day phone number because the driver should always call before setting up delivery.
The driver will not unload or carry your shipment into your house unless otherwise specified. We offer delivery to the inside of your house but this is subject to extra shipping charges. These are heavy beds weighing anywhere from 100 lbs to nearly 400 lbs. We strongly advise having more than one person there to help.
Hammocks
Most items ship from the warehouse within 1 to 3 business days of receiving and processing your order. At this time we only ship within the contiguous 48 states.
Wind Chimes
All items take 1 to 2 days to ship from the factory. It can then take up to 6 days to get to your door via our ground shipping. Faster shipping options are available at checkout.All windchimes are shipped within the contiguous U.S. unless otherwise specified via email or phone. Faster shipping is available at checkout but will incur additional cost.
